Any torch ordered from PWS needs to include a suffix to the part number to tell us what type of machine it will be connected to. For instance: A HP50 may be ordered as HP50-ULT, HP50-OER, or HP50-DA. The straight barrel 20-amp Oerlikon MP2-21 established a strong reputation as one of the benchmark torches for low-current Microplasma welding as did the MP5-21-13 / SP-45 machine and hand held Microplasma welding torches.  Over subsequent decades, following several corporate restructurings and ownership changes within Oerlikon’s welding business, production of the MP5-21/13 torches has been discontinued by its final owner.  Consumables and spare parts remain available only while existing inventories last, making long-term support increasingly challenging.  ….Read More …
